I'm rubbish at keeping this in the air these days. It's been a case of, too busy to blog, to quiet to blog. At the moment though, my life is in it's annual summer lull. Work in June was pretty crazy, but until September now, apart from a few little things, I'm fairly unemployed. Anyway, let's take a fairly unexciting look back at the pictures I took last month:
Wow, we are so far behind…
Some selfies, because selfies. iOS 9 now has a folder full of what it considers to be 'selfies' on the photo app, which is alarming when it's found 350…and that's not even all of them…

And so from Newcastle I travelled to Cambridge:
This was Cambridge's Selywn College's May Ball, and a free ticket for them to all get royally pissed, yet very few took the chance. It it just another world down there and they're just not the same as elsewhere. But after 2 days there, it was off to Manchester for 5…

CIH with a few selfies in there, along with a picture of Lewis, the Dulux dog. He couldn't see a thing because of all that fur, but he was still a sweetheart.
And then after Manchester, it was back to Newcastle for one night in my own bed, before I took the train allll the way down to London. Or up to London if you really care.
I was down for the BST Hyde Park gig with Taylor Swift. I'm not the biggest Taylor Swift fan in the world, but she's alright, and she doesn't play festivals. She rarely even does her own gigs anyway over here, so I thought for £10 with Festaff, I might as well.
Once again, working with Festaff was an amazing experience, and there are always people who you just seem to get on with. Even though I'd done McBusted last year, I worked on a completely different gate this year, working with people who'd paid about £180 for their tickets. Crazy, since it didn't even really get you that much more. Still, I had a good time and although I got super burnt, Taylor was very inspirational and I'm glad I have her album, cough Spotify cough.
I managed to time one of my breaks so that I could see Sheppard on the smaller stage. It's crazy how I never thought I'd see them live, and now I've seen them twice. I wish I wasn't working and could stop around for a little while to meet them again. George has changed so much haha.
We got little LED wristbands, like what Coldplay had, and they looked pretty cool. I don't think it was really dark enough for them to have their proper effect since they look better inside too.

I take such rubbish gig pictures haha
I stayed in Kings College's student accommodation because it was the only thing available without having to remortgage. It felt horrible. It was a bit like how I imagine a prostitutes bedroom to be like, it was that bare and lifeless. Not to mention it really was in the middle of London, and the decibel meter was reading 55 with the windows open. Sirens constantly and all manners of vehicles going past day and night with no regard for people who were asleep. I absolutely could not stay there for uni, it drove me insane the two nights I was there, not that I would ever be going to uni in London anyway, awful place.
On the second night, there was a fire alarm at 3:30am. I could not believe it. You know when you expect it to go off after a few seconds and it just, doesn't. Damn, I wasn't prepared to die in a fire in the middle of London, I had to evacuate with the rest of the rabble staying there. I did have to get dressed though so it was a choice between the tightest pair of jeans I own or an equally as tight pair of leggings. But after standing outside for 20 minutes…

So luckily after London I had a week at home, which was totally needed. I missed my premier inn bed too much!

And so in between making turkey and lamb lasagne, which sounds like the strangest combination of meats, but it turned out to be a nice enough lasagne, if the pasta had cooked, that is…

Don't be fooled, it's double stacked because we didn't have enough meat… :(
I dyed my hair!
I tried to dye it grey, because it looks so cool, but I didn't want to have to wait for it to be toned with purple shampoo etc after bleaching, so I bought some grey dye too.
So I bleached it…
It doesn't look too bad here, but trust me it was. I was too impatient to wait for it to be toned and didn't like how it looked :( so I bottled it and dyed it back hahaha.

And went to visit the baaybeeee

I miss my hair being dark :( the dye i put on to cover the bleach has faded, and the bleach hasn't, so it's getting lighter with every wash. It could probably survive another dye, but I don't want it to just fade again, and it's a lot of effort.
So now I have no more work to do as of Monday, I'm going to be a little bit bored. I might go running, might. Probably not though.
I hope you've all thoroughly enjoyed not reading this post, I sure have.
Until the next time…
Jordanavia :)
