Many Photos of Penny the Schnoodle

I hate writing posts without first having a title, but in this case I'm not sure what the title of this random collection of photos would be.

First of all, it seems so long ago but I hope everyone had a good Christmas! Ours get quieter and quieter every year, with the youngest of the family being George at 18! *Turns out he's 19. Pfft, who even knows how old their brother is anyway? We need some babies…

The only baby I need
I never take that many pictures at Christmas. I'd love to say it was because I was enjoying spending quality time with the fam, but unfortunately it's because there's not all that much to photograph. I hate seeing the below picture on peoples timelines on Christmas morning, especially with the caption 'He's been good to me!' or equivalent. I feel that a month on, I can post this here without feeling hypocritical…

Of course the best part of any Christmas Day is not the presents, but the food. I could honestly eat this Christmas dinner right now! I loooove the food you get at Christmas. Mash potato is quite possibly one of my favourite foods, and with all the sausage meat, and the bread sauce, and the special things you only really get with a Christmas dinner… I'm making myself so hungry sitting here writing about all this!

So that was a good day. In the days after Christmas, we spent a morning at Northumberlandia, a giant woman carved into the hillside in Northumberland. We actually spent Boxing Day 2013 here too.

And then I wallowed at home for the Chrimbo Limbo, and went back to mine for a small New Year party.

I have had a different hairstyle of the past week… it just seems that in every photo I take, I have my hair in French plaits haha.

And as if by magic, the holidays were over. Such a saddening feelings having to go back to work for 9am every day. No nice food, no kitties or puppies to play with, no pyjamas… work sucks haha. The only thing getting me through the first few days were these doughnuts!

Some selfies demonstrating how happy I was to have finished my first day back at work.

And then I had a very lucky day! It started off pretty well in the morning, and then with this lovely little delivery, it was made even better!

I had hummed and harred over whether or not to buy these shoes. They're so nice and I've wanted them for a little while, but couldn't justify spending the money on them. Especially since I was perfectly happy with the $14 Walmart shoes I have. But because I can't settle if I want something like this, I bit the bullet and just got them. I told myself they're very rare, and the opportunity to actually buy them doesn't come up very often because they're always out of stock. Never mind, they're fab! I look so stylish…

Keeping them clean is another issue.

Then Penny got a haircut!

Before

After

We did ask for her to be more Schnauzer, but don't think we really expected this! She looked like a different dog! But so soft… and at least now she can see out of her eyes…

I hate how cameras never show sunsets very well.

This filter makes me feel like I'm in Cirque du Soleil…

I am so excited to see that at the arena. I hope Varekai is as good as O and La Nouba. No doubt I'll want to be some kind of acrobat again after seeing it. I thought after seeing O that I would take a year's crash course in acrobatics and run away to join the circus hahaha. I can 99% guarantee that I'll have a similar outlook on my future after the 18th February.

Normal day in the office…

I can't believe how amazing this burger was… Yes technically I'd class it as a stack of food rather than a burger, but it was so delish…
Look at those normal sized burgers in the background hahahaha

Best day at work ever…

And now I've ran out of photos! Most of them were actually to do with the dog…
So I hope everyone's having a good 2017 so far, despite what atrocities are being committed in various parts of the so called developed world. I am certainly not the most intelligent of people, but it doesn't take a doctorate to have some common sense and some human decency.

Besides all of that, I've had a good start to the year! Let's hope it continues!
